About Us
The Black Hawk College Republicans is a student organization at Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois. Our purpose is to promote the ideas, ideals, policies, values, and positions that are the current policy of the Republican Party, or that we believe should be the position of this party. We currently maintain an active membership of 20-25 students, who are active in a variety of local political campaigns and organizations. We are also active on campus, participating in a number of rallies, symposiums, debates, and other politically-oriented events. We are strong financially, and are raising money through several different fund-raising activities. We offer an opportunity for like-minded students to get involved and make a difference in their school and community. Our faculty advisor is Prof. Joan Eastlund, chair of the political science department at Black Hawk College.
